Portrait drawing

Anatole France said that « To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe. » And I believe my goal is achievable. I want to be able to draw a portrait in less than 3 hours. If I want this to happen soon, I still have many things to do.

First, I have to buy some new materials. I need a Kneadable eraser, an electric eraser and a soft vinyl eraser. Yes, I really need 3 different kind of eraser! I also need new pencils, from 6H to 9B, and a good sharpener to make sure my pencils are not ruined by a cheap one. It also is better if I get a green light to make sure my eyes won’t get tired too quickly.

Now, I am ready to begin. I know I have to practice a lot to make a portrait this fast, so I say I have to draw at least one each week. And also, I have to draw different people to get comfortable drawing any king of facial lines.

If a follow this plan, I think I should be able to draw a portrait in less than 3 hours in a month and a half. It means I would draw at least 6 portraits before the time runs out. With the right material and a realistic plan, it looks way more easy than it did before.
